This pattern pack is an awesome commercial use freebie that I've used for some time now and couldn't remember where they came from.  I wasn't sure if they were CU or not, so it's good to get them posted here for my own reference as well.  This pattern set comes with both .png and .pat, so they can be used in both gimp and photoshop.
